South Bay Sessions is our first album, which we began recording in March 2012. It is about the land, the locations and the locals of the Canterbury region. It draws inspiration from the rivers, mountains and coastlines that surround Christchurch. It incorporates the sounds of classic dub reggae, taonga puoro, te reo Maori and three-part harmony.
This album spans from the source of the Waimakariri river to the Stourbridge fish and chip shop and back again. Ko au te whenua, Ko te whenua ko au.
We hope that you can get as much a buzz out of listening to our album as we got making it. Thanks so much for your support.

We thank all those who have helped in this voyage so far and listened to our music. A special thanks to Greg Stanley for recording and engineering our sound, Jake Stanley for filming and artwork design, Rob Payne for mastering, Harry Henderson for his invaluable local knowledge and all our family and friends for endless support along the way. We are truly grateful.
